Senior Instructor – Engineering Department

Job Specification

Qualification : Degree in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics Engineering or AME.

Experience : 5 years aviation maintenance/ training Experience preferably with Instructor authorisation.

Objective : To ensure all the engineering personnel have been trained as per the laid out company requirements and Procedures.

Knowledge :

  • Knowledge on CAR 145/CAR 66/CAR 147
  • Knowledge on method of Instruction/ Train the Trainer
  • Should have undergone Type Training preferably on B 737-800/B757-200
  • Knowledge on MS office /LMS

    • Technical Skills :

  • Conversant with Regulatory and Manufacturer’s Documents
  • Conversant with company Policies & Procedures.

    • KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRAs)

  • He is responsible for imparting class room trainings(in-house & contract staff),
    OJT (Type & CAR 147-Basic) and also support for e-learning training.
  • Responsible to conduct Internal / DGCA / EASA approved trainings for
    Engineers and other engineering personnel.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining Blue Dart Training data base and e
    learning system for engineering personnel.
  • Monitor all training programs through the training data base/ TRAX ERP.
  • Conduct Type Training
  • Prepare & update training database/ e-learning content for the courses as well
    as for audit requirements
  • Prepare the annual budget/ training expenses etc. for the engineering training.
  • Prepare question papers and conduct examination after the training session
  • Maintain and keep in safe custody all completed training records
  • Prepare yearly training programs for all engineering personnel.
  • Prepare training schedules, Training Syllabus and Training materials.
  • Liaison with local DGCA for Type training requirements
