Tulsi has been actively associated with the airline and express industry in India for over thirty years. Tulsi moved to Blue Dart Aviation from Blue Dart Express, where she is credited with creating and marketing the air cargo products for the launch of Blue Dart Aviation, including major accounts and interline agreements with international airlines, initiating charter services and setting up the accounting, sales and operations systems for these services. Prior to joining Blue Dart Aviation in 2008, she was the Senior Vice President – Marketing & Projects for Blue Dart Express. She has been instrumental in brand development activities in the company, and developed the industry segment module used in-house for marketing research. In 2007, she undertook the additional role of Senior Advisor in Blue Dart Express for the roll out of First Choice.

Tulsi has an MBA degree in International Aviation from Concordia University , Montreal, and has presented a research paper on aviation education.
